WHITE TEA - Ruby

This unique white tea is the result of an experiment of tea farmer Sheng and his wife Emily, who live together with their family in Meishan, a beautiful and biologically rich village in the famous Alishan mountain area. This family has been producing oolong tea
and black tea for many years.

They started to produce white tea as an experiment for MIST, and the outcome is amazing! Their innovative approach already paid off, as they wone several awards with their tea.  We also admire this couple for their perseverance to produce natural
tea, as one of the few in the region.

This White tea is made from the Ruby variety, a particular orange tasting variety. The white tea processing gives the tea the delicate, floral flavors, with a sweet
honey aftertaste. You can infuse the same leaves up to 3 times (within 24 hours) !

Served at its best:

Water: 75° - 80°
Traditional way: 1 g of tea leaves per 30 ml - 2 min
Up to 3 infusions with the same leaves
Western way: 4,5 g per 300 ml - 4 min
