Simple to brew yet full of character, our MIST Hojicha is a beautifully balanced Japanese green tea with a rich, roasted flavor. It's a blend of first-flush stems and Bancha leaves, produced in Kyoto. This Hojicha is sand-roasted carefully, according to artisanal production methods dating from the Edo period.  

Once roasted, the stems release a comforting, strong and nutty fragrance. You will taste notes of caramel and toasted bread. With its naturally low caffeine content, Hojicha is perfect to enjoy any time of day ! 

Served hot for a soothing moment or cold as a refreshing complement to any meal.

 

Served at its best:

Hot brew: 2 gram / 300 ml water / 80°- 85° / 2 min
Cold brew: 10 gram / 1 L cold water / 8 h

Up to 2 infusions with the same leaves !
